35 Oscillations Around The Sun

Just over two weeks ago the earth completed 35 oscillations around the sun with me on it. On Mount Kenya time paused gracefully as we walked the earth miles from other humans. But this land was budding with life, exotic plants collect rain water for its own sustenance and others, birds of prey glided effortlessly above us and zebras shimmered in the distance with the suns reflection.

What is time and why are we so insistent on defining ourselves by it?

With it some see scars and wrinkles, I see souls that grow beautifully with every passing moment, a heart more open to love and a greater understanding of every living being around us. Our human imperfections make us flawless beyond measure… Today is a good day to believe.
