Omar Goes South: Day 8

Today is the 8th day from the start of my expedition and we finally got the green light to travel to the 89th degree south after the weather cleared for take off. We travel in a ski aircraft and the flight takes 4hrs. Once we land, we ski a short distance and camp for the night. We’ve taken extra precautions to stay well warmed as we received news from previous South Pole teams whose members got frostbite!#omargoessouth
